The Hilton Metropole - 4 Star
The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Oxford Street. The rooms at the Hilton
Metropole have interactive TVs with internet access, an en-suite bathroom,
tea/coffee facilities and air conditioning. The Minako Restaurant serves
Asian-Fusion cuisine, and has impressive views of London’s skyline. There is
also a coffee shop and lounge bar, and the stylish Fiamma Restaurant offers
an international menu. The Living Well Health Club features an indoor
swimming pool, sauna, steam room and fully equipped gym. The hotel is a
2-minute walk from Edgware Road Underground Station. Madame Tussauds
is a 15-minute stroll away, and leafy Hyde Park is just half a mile away. There

Day One: After a pick up from home you join our luxury touring coach and head for
Winchester England’s ancient capital which is steeped in history, from legend
and lore to awe-inspiring architecture. Here you will have time for
sightseeing and lunch, before continuing on to London arriving late
afternoon.
Days Two and Three: The next two days are at leisure for you to do as you please, take in the
sights of our capital, visit the museums or maybe see a show. If it's shopping
you want, you have the world famous Oxford Street, Bond Street and
Regent Street otherwise known as shopper’s paradise. The choice is yours.
Day Four: The coach collects you from your hotel late morning for a short tour of
London, before arriving at the famous Harrods department store where
you will have time here for Christmas shopping or just browsing the store,
before being served afternoon tea. We then make our way back to the
Island, arriving early evening.

The Old Swan Hotel Harrogate – 4 Star
The Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate is set within a stunning Victorian building,
dating back to 1840 and surrounded by 5 acres of beautiful gardens. Inside
classic and contemporary designs meet to create rooms that are both
elegant and comfortable. The guest rooms are spacious, bright and come

Day One: After a pick up from home you join our luxury touring coach and head

Days Two & Three: The next two days are at leisure in Harrogate with one included excursion.
Harrogate has something for everyone, Turkish baths, pump rooms,
museums and art galleries with a bustling town centre, elegant Harrogate
has a great mixture of wonderful shops for those special Christmas gifts.
Day Four: After breakfast you leave Harrogate and head south for your return journey
home. Comfort stops will be made en route and you arrive back on the
island early evening.

Included Excursion: A full day tour to the city of York for the St. Nicholas Christmas Fayre. This
outstanding fayre remains one of the most popular Christmas Markets in
the UK attracting thousands of visitors each year. The event is spread out
over several markets in the streets in the centre of York. There is a vast
range of stalls specialising in gifts, crafts and local produce. The specialist
medieval market in Barley Hall and the arts and craft market in St William’s
College are events not to be missed!

Barcelo Buxton Palace Hotel – 4 Star
The grand 4 star Palace Hotel built in 1868 is centrally located overlooking
the spa town of Buxton. The 122 bedrooms all offer their own charm along
with the comforts you would expect including tea/coffee making facilities,
TV and hairdryer. Relax in the cosy lounge or in one of the hotel bars with
a drink before dinner. The elegant and welcoming ‘Dovedale ’ restaurant
offers an extensive range of good quality food in a relaxed atmosphere. The
hotel does have a lift however there are a few rooms not accessible by the
lift. The hotel also has leisure facilities including swimming pool, sauna, steam
room and beauty salon

Day One: After a pick-up from home, you join our luxury touring coach and
head northwards via the motorway network to Buxton with comfort stops
en route.
Day Two to Day Four: At leisure in Buxton with three included excursions.
Tuesday is market day but whatever the weather, the town offers something
for everyone. From the Pavilion Gardens the Opera House, the Dome and
the country park, to the shops in Spring Gardens or on the Market Place.
Day Five: After breakfast, we leave Buxton and head south for the return
journey home with comfort stops en route. We arrive back on the Island
early evening.

Included Excursions: A full day excursion to Chatsworth House. Each year
the first two floors of Chatsworth House are richly decorated to evoke the
special family Christmas atmosphere that pervades this grand mansion. The
Duke and Duchess and their grandchildren each add to the festivities by
personally decorating their own tree. All this combined with wonderful
themed shopping make this a must see for the Christmas period.
An excursion across the Peak District National Park, first calling in at
Bakewell, famous for its puddings and known as the ‘ancient capital of the
Peak District'. Set in an enviable location on the banks of the Wye, with the
river meandering gently through the centre, this beautiful old market town
is in the heart of the Peak District, surrounded by stunning countryside
views. You continue your tour to the Spa village of Matlock Bath where
you can take afternoon tea or just stroll around this grand old village with
its interesting Georgian and Victorian buildings.
A half day tour to Ashbourne. Little has changed in Ashbourne since the
18th century and it is one of Derbyshire’s finest old market towns,
combining a medieval street pattern and historic buildings with a wealth of
high quality shops. The cobbled market place, hidden alleys and yards are a
delight to explore and the wide and elegant Church Street is considered to
be the finest street of Georgian buildings in Derbyshire.

Mercure Hotel Trier Porta Nigra – 4 Star
Next to the world-famous Porta Nigra, the Roman City Gate, and just a few
minutes from the historic centre, this modern four star hotel bids you a
warm welcome with its 106 well equipped rooms. The hotel boasts a
restaurant which features a view of the Porta Nigra, the tavern Salong, the
international casino of Trier, fitness centre (nearby), sauna and solarium. The
hotel also has a lift to all floors.

Trier Christmas Markets:
Trier’s charming market is a delight with its romantic setting in the heart of
the town’s medieval Main Market and the Cathedral square. In the festive
wooden booths find a great variety of seasonal goods ranging from
Christmas decorations to wooden toys, candles, hand blown or engraved
glassware and ceramics. Culinary delicacies accompanied by exquisite local
wines and of course traditional German dishes and desserts such as
bratwurst, potato pancakes, gingerbread and pastries!

Day One: After a taxi pick up from home, you join our luxury touring coach and head
eastwards towards Dover for the short sea crossing over to Calais. You
then travel through France, Belgium and into Germany to the Porta Nigra
Hotel arriving in the evening.
Day Two to Day Three: At leisure in Trier with one included excursion.
Day Four: After breakfast, you make your way northwards to Calais before making
your return crossing to Dover, arriving back on the Island in the evening.

Included Excursion: A full day excursion to Koblenz Xmas market one of the largest Christmas
Markets in Rhineland Palatinate. More than one hundred wooden stands
will be located in the historic district of Koblenz. On offer will be an
extensive range of arts and crafts as well as Christmas decorations and a
huge selection of items for the festive table, plus there will be music and
concerts throughout the festive season with snack booths, spicy mulled
wine and sweet-smelling Christmas cakes providing many delicious
