Chatham Dockyard with cruise on the Paddle Steamer, Kingswear Castle

Buckingham Palace & The Royal Mews

A visit to the official residence of Her Majesty The Queen during her Diamond Jubilee year. There will be a special exhibition ‘Diamonds – A Jubilee Celebration’ which will include a number of the Queen’s personal jewels. The nineteen magnificent state rooms are used extensively by The Queen and members of the Royal Family to receive and entertain their guests on state, ceremonial and official occasions. They are lavishly furnished with some of the finest treasures from the Royal Collection. At the end of the visit enjoy the views across the famous lawn from the terrace of the Garden Cafe. Earlier in the day you will visit the Royal Mews for a fascinating insight into the work of the Royal Household department that provides road transport for The Queen and members of the Royal Family. See the dazzling Gold State Coach, Australian state coach and Irish Coach among the many historic carriages. Visit the magnificent Windsor Grey and Cleveland Bay horses that are stabled at the Mews, one of the finest working stables in the world.

Scenic Cotswolds Tour

Join us on a scenic tour around the beautiful Cotswolds stopping first at “The Capital of the Cotswolds, Cirencester. A busy town with a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants or you may prefer a visit to the Corinium Museum or ancient Parish Church. After travelling through pretty villages we will again stop, this time at Bourton-on-the Water, often referred to as the “Venice of the Cotswolds” because its River Windrush runs right through the centre. The combination of this clear sparkling water and attractive low bridges crossing it create a charming scene. Bourton-on-the-Water has more than its share of Cotswold stone houses and cottages, many over 300 years old. A delightful day out.

Hatfield House, Park and Garden
Thursday 13th September
Magnificent Hatfield House is the home of the 7th Marquess and Marchioness of Salisbury and their family. Superb examples of Jacobean craftsmanship can be seen throughout the House such as the Grand Staircase with its fine carving and the rare stained glass window in the private chapel. Many historic mementos are displayed within the various rooms open to the public, such as the library, Victorian kitchen, Marble Hall, Armoury, Winter Dining Room, Chinese Bedroom and Long Gallery. Outside visitors can enjoy the sundial garden and fountains and view the famous knot garden adjoining the Tudor Old Palace where Elizabeth I spent much of her childhood. In the Park, an oak tree marks the place where the young Princess Elizabeth first heard of her accession to the throne. Visitors can also enjoy extensive walks in the park with woodland trails.

Brugge via Eurotunnel

Brugge is a beautiful, dreamy, medieval city, famous for its cobbled squares, narrow streets, canals, gabled houses and gothic buildings and of course its chocolate, lace and beer! Wander the streets or take a trip on the canal to see this delightful city at its best.
Please note that you will be dropped at a point that is approx. 10 minutes walk to the centre. It is also possible to catch the local bus. However, coaches can no longer drop right in the centre of Brugge.
A short stop will be made for passengers to purchase tobacco products.
